NTU Formula SAE Race Car Team, Team Project
Hardware Engineer
We developed an electric race car using state-of-the-art automotive technology to enhance controllability and synchronize the rider's sensory experience with the car's performance. As part of the project, I was responsible for developing the traction control system, which involved communication and real-time sensor fusion using Python. Additionally, I assisted in project management by defining the system's scope and architecture, which included motion sensors, microcontrollers, and a Linux-based microcomputer.
To speed up the processing efficiency, I applied UART and CAN communication protocols to stream data from the Arduino to the Raspberry Pi and implemented multithreading and multiprocessing on the system.
